Surprise! General Hospital stars Brandon Barash and Kirsten Storms are married. Not only that, but the two are also expecting their first child — a little girl! How did Barash and Storms manage to keep everything a secret until now?
"We're having a little girl in January," Barash, 33, told People. "It's been the most amazing couple of months of our lives." Barash also revealed to the magazine that he and Storms have been married since June. "We kept things quiet because of everything that can go wrong during the first trimester. Kirsten did have a rocky [time] and we were in and out of the hospital."
Storms, 29, famously suffered from endometriosis, which caused her to miss a lot of General Hospital in 2011. "We talked about wanting to have kids and Kirsten was told she could try hormone therapy. It was pretty bleak as far as the probability of her being able to get pregnant," Barash said "but then we got back from a trip to Amsterdam and discovered we were expecting. We calculated that we conceived the baby in [GH star] Tony Geary's guest room!"
"A couple of weeks ago she wasn't really showing, but now her curves have just taken over," Barash said. "It makes me love her even more. It feels like a fairytale — we are so lucky." Storms' curves are certainly showing! The blonde beauty instagramed a pic of her growing belly "Bump alert. #thisisreallyhappening @brandonjbarash#babygirlBarash"
"Wow! Thanks to everyone for all the love! Brandon and I are very very very excited about this new adventure :)" Storms tweeted after fans heard the news. "Wow peeps...the outpouring of love and blessings is humbling. I love you all." Barash also tweeted.
Storms plays Maxie on General Hospital, who is currently pregnant on the show. While Barash left the soap in April after starring as Johnny. Congrats to the happy couple!
