A soap actor is in cocaine trouble. Days of our Lives actor Dylan Patton has been charged with allegedly selling cocaine! The soap opera actor will face a judge on Thursday in regards to charges that say he sold cocaine out of his Los Angeles home.
The soap actor Dylan Michael Patton is 20 years old. The Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies arrested the soap actor at his home, and then subsequently searched it. The police got a search warrant after an undercover cop claims he went into the Agoura Hills home and bought cocaine from the actor. According to the L.A. district attorney's office, "deputies allegedly seized cocaine from the residence," according to a news release.
The prosecutors in the soap actor's cocaine trial say that they will ask that his bail be set at $30,000 dollars. Patton faces up to nine years in prison if convicted. The actor was nominated for a Daytime Emmy for "outstanding young actor in a drama series" in 2010.
The soap actor was selling cocaine within 1,000 feet of Sumac Elementary School, in the area where his home is located. The actor portrayed Will Horton for one year on Days of our Lives on NBC. From February 2009 to January 2010, Dylan Patton played the son of Sami Brady (actress Alison Sweeney) for more than 100 episodes.
The cocaine arrest occurred around 8 a.m. on Tuesday by deputies from the sheriff's Lost Hills Station in connection with a warrant that was served at his family's home. According to reports, the Days of our Lives actor's parents were home.
